What information does Jumbo collect about me?
We're not just looking to build a product, we want to change the status quo of privacy.
Because of this it is extremely important to us that we hold ourselves to higher privacy expectations than the services that we offer support for. Therefore, we only interact with your data whenever absolutely necessary and it is always kept anonymous. Please know that we will never monetize your data.
With that said, we do want to be transparent about pieces of data that we might collect from users:
We may collect your IDFA and/or IP address if you are a US user. The IDFA is a random device identifier assigned by Apple to a user’s device and used by advertisers to track data so they can deliver customized advertising. The IP address is a unique string of characters that identifies each computer using the Internet Protocol to communicate over a network. Both your IDFA and IP address are personally identifiable information that Jumbo deletes automatically within a 45-day period upon their collection when you starting using the Jumbo Privacy App. Thus, we ensure the deletion of both your IDFA and IP address that we may store without you having to request it.
We may have processed your Jumbo ID (DeviceID) which is a unique and anonymized number that we use for statistical purposes. Most companies do not consider this personally identifiable information, but we use extra caution. If you want us to delete any information associated with this number, please take the following steps for us to match your email address to your DeviceID.
Jumbo happily operates under GDPR guidelines and we encourage users to exercise their data rights. If you'd like to request a formal data deletion from Jumbo please send an email to [email protected] and mention a data deletion.
