Having issues with 2FA code generator?

I removed my 2FA code generator. How do I recover it?


If you choose to remove your 2FA codes from your Vault but have not turned off this feature through your user account settings , you will be asked to provide 2FA codes that are not visible.

But luckily, you can recover your 2FA code generators by deleting and reinstalling Jumbo on your device.

NOTE: If you have any archives in your Vault, deleting the app will also permanently delete those archives, so please make sure you have backed up anything that you would like to save. Additionally, because all of your login credentials are stored locally on your device, you will have to reconnect your accounts to Jumbo after reinstallation.


My codes are appearing, but they're not working.


In order for 2FA codes to work properly, the device time must be correct and be automatically set.

Here is how you can check your time settings:

Steps for iOS

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap General.
  3. Tap Date & Time.
  4. Check that the toggle for Set Automatically is ON.

Steps for Android

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap General Management.
  3. Tap Date and time.
  4. Check that the toggle for Set Automatically is ON.
