Setting up Jumbo Protection


🚨 Reminder: JUMBO is an entirely free app, so the shield icon shown at the top of Jumbo's home screen is NOT a subscription tier. The shield icon simply indicates your current protection level and there are three protection levels; Bronze, Silver and Gold.

Bronze Protection indicates that you haven’t set up any security features yet! You can tap the shield icon on the Jumbo home screen to start setting up your protection.

Toggle these features ON:

  • Wi-Fi Monitoring: Get notified when using unsecured Wi-Fi networks
  • 24/7 Data Monitoring: Get notified when your data is at risk
  • iPhone/Device Security: Get the latest security software updates for your device

Silver Protection indicates that you still need to register for ID Theft Insurance!

To register for ID Theft Insurance

  1. Open the Jumbo app.
  2. Tap the Jumbo Shield.
  3. Tap the toggle next to ID Theft Insurance, then tap Enroll for Free.
  4. Input the prompts with your first name, last name and email address.

Gold Protection indicates that you have successfully set up your main Jumbo security features! Once you’ve completed the set up, you can move on to Setting up My Identity.
Gold Protection is only available for users in the UNITED STATES! If you live in a country outside of the US, you can only go up to Silver Protection.
